Nice cafe opposite the ferry port - good for a pre/post ferry refuel! Good range of sandwiches and breakfast rolls with options for vegetarians and vegans. Great range of cakes including a few different vegan options and massive portions! Lovely member of staff despite the queue. Nice to sit outside in the lovely sunshine - might be a bit short on space on a more usual Scottish day!

The young lady who served us was Very pleasant and helpful. The coffee and cake was amazing. I wanted a GF cake and there was 6 or 7 homemade to choose from. The cakes are to die for. Thank you.

Great place to stop for coffee and breakfast before a day exploring or catching the ferry. Opens early, friendly staff and good service. Can really recommend the blueberry scones and the bacon breakfast sandwiches! Coffee was decent. Very reasonable prices.

Brilliant, tasty lunch for our hungry, fussy family. Had local pork burger, couple of cheese and ham toasties and fish cake special. All great quality and well cooked and presented. Finished off with some fantastic cakes. Service was friendly and helpful in ensuring kids were comfortable with their food (hating salad garnish!). Ace place. We will be back!

We ate lunch at Arlene’s today and was pleasant surprised how delicious it was! It’s a small quaint cafe at the foot of the Ferry Terminal. We ate tuna and mozzarella and chicken and mozzarella paninis with a small salad, a cup of butter squash soup and the best Cole slaw I’ve ever tasted. Everything is made fresh and I’d highly recommend a stop!
